THE INDABA HISTORY

So, have you noticed that everybody is wise in January? Well, we did. The January month is when most people really want to be clear about the new year and who they will be in it. Yet, we noticed this rarely happens for billions of people in the world. Rather, January each year is inadvertently used as the therapeutic false assurance, confidence and hope to mask ignorance, fear and opacity. The world calls it “New Year Resolutions”. We’ve noticed however that the resolutions are designed to fade because the strength of it is determination; and sadly, determination is not a strategy! So, by February, the January wisdom will begin to crack. By April, it will be broken and become the definition of what we call nuisance-value. 

So what have we done? Every January since 2015, we put out the Olakunle Soriyan Futuristic Indaba; and another is here. It is the alternative to mere determination, guessing and assumptions. It is simply raw futurism. The futurist, iconoclast, disruptive global thought revolutionist and strategist, Olakunle Soriyan, together with other futurists, gathers big minds across the world. The goal is to unveil the contents of the New Year and when necessary, a new decade. It’s about what will happen and who you must be in it.

2015 was about COMMUNITIES. 2016 was about COLLABORATIONS. 2017 was about POWER CENTERS. 2018 was about BORDERLESSNESS. 2019 was “The END of HOPE: DARKEST HOURS”. 2020 was the entry into the darkness we predicted in 2019 (we never knew it would be a pandemic). 2021 was about COMPENSATIONS. 2022 was the year of CONSOLIDATIONS. 2023 was NEW BEGINNINGS; and 2024 is about POSITIONINGS: The End of Hustle! It is the first of seven years of Prosperity and Foundations. 2030 is the critical year everything we know today will culminate in an unprecedented reality.

THE CRITICAL GOAL

2024 is the year of positioning. 2024 is dominance for a few, generic for the majority.  It’s less hustle, more connections, and community. Its champions, by Dec 31st night, will know power, honor, providence, victories, and greatness. Consequently, 2024 will bring about opportunities, changes, and challenges. If you’re seeking a shift in your current lives, this year offers a favorable platform to go all the way. Just pick the dynamic of election and change of power alone. Worldwide 2024 will be a momentous year for elections. It’s estimated that countries home to roughly half of the world’s population will hold local, regional, general, and presidential elections this year. Migration will impact a lot in 2024, plus that war will be a major conversation all through the year. 

“THE FUTURE IS SEVEN: Why and How Everything Will Change  By 2030 and How to Architect Your Own Stake and Power in it.” This is the theme for this year’s Indaba. Please note very quickly that it is not a motivational immersion—it is rather a jargon-free foresight, very practical, usable, transferable, and rewardable knowledge experience—it is about futurism, prescience, trend watching, and knowledge exchange.

They are the fading of powers and voices as we have known, the rise of new powers and new voices as we are yet to know, the rise of underdogs—no name boys and girls, men and women rising to prominence, authority, and influence in ways totally unprecedented; and then the rise of spirituality and faith. This is Olakunle Soriyan’s prediction since 2018. 
 
The world and most of the rules and experiences that define it are over. The hunger-games society.. The weight of population..The decision of Africa and Global Black..The next industrial revolution.. How grandparents are the critical market to discern.. Why attention is the new oil (getting it and giving it).. The new powers of tomorrow (entrepreneurs, innovators and truth-tellers)..
